For about five years, I was webmaster and photographer for Grand Center Arts Academy in St. Louis. Those amazing high school students are featured in many of these photos. I’ve kept an eye out for good images of artists ever since. For those who’d like to try to capture photos of dancers, I would point out that the environment is often hostile to photographers, quickly moving images in relative darkness or where dynamic range is wide. I’m certainly not showing you any of my many dance photos that failed . . .
